I randomly called AC Plus when my a/c died. I was pleasantly surprised that with the awful heatwave we were having, I got an appointment for the next day. I was told a technician would be at my house between 12 and 4 and again surprised he was here by 11. It took him less that 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and give me a price. He didn’t try to upsell me anything like a new unit. It took him about an hour and I was up and running. He also cleaned up the dirt that came out of the unit. Thank you AC Plus and my tech, Sean.

They weren’t happy with the temporary nature of the fix they provided so they didn’t charge for the work - not even the diagnosis fee. UPDATE: 9-9-24Brandon fixed a vent on the roof and another part and helped to make our unit even more efficient. Thank you.UPDATE: 6-15-23It's been about 2 years, but Matt reached out to see what he could do to make us happy. He offered a complimentary cleaning of the AC unit. We discussed the issues from my first review (3 star) and I agreed to update it here. So I am giving AC Plus Heating and Air a 5 star review today for following up and making things right. We will definitely call them again in the future with any AC issues.Our AC kept tripping the breaker. So we called and got an appt. for 2 days away. Matt came and tried to fix it, but it tripped again later that night. So he said we would need a new unit. In a couple more days, Matt came back to replace the unit. Got it up and running. Tripped again! Matt said it was probably the breaker was weak (perhaps this would have been the first thing to check?), so he brought one over to replace the old one and get us up and running again. However, my husband, a former electrician, was concerned because Matt put in a 40 amp breaker with old wiring which only supported a 30 amp breaker. So, we ended up replacing the 30 amp breaker ourselves, even though the new unit clearly stated it required a 40 amp breaker. We repeatedly called Matt and the office to come and finish the job. My calls went unanswered or were put off for several days. All we wanted was for them to finish the job-properly wire the unit and put in the correct breaker. This took almost another week. FINALLY Donald and Louis showed up and quickly and expertly completed the job that should have been done in the beginning. For THEM we give 5 stars.

Works better than it ever has. They put in larger ducting when they replaced the old stuff and it has made a world of difference. My air conditioner stopped blowing air through the vents. I knew I had to find an HVAC repair guy fast and I was worried about having some stranger with his hands on my equipment. I did a web search and found AC Plus Heating and Air with many hundreds of 5 star reviews on Google.Omar Amore came to my house and diagnosed and fixed the problem in 20 minutes and it cost me much less than expected. After he performed the work, he spent another 15 minutes with me educating me about the proper maintenance of my air conditioner.
