Matt came and tried to fix it, but it tripped again later that night. So he said we would need a new unit. In a couple more days, Matt came back to replace the unit. Got it up and running. Tripped again! Matt said it was probably the breaker was weak (perhaps this would have been the first thing to check?), so he brought one over to replace the old one and get us up and running again. However, my husband, a former electrician, was concerned because Matt put in a 40 amp breaker with old wiring which only supported a 30 amp breaker. So, we ended up replacing the 30 amp breaker ourselves, even though the new unit clearly stated it required a 40 amp breaker. We repeatedly called Matt and the office to come and finish the job. My calls went unanswered or were put off for several days. All we wanted was for them to finish the job-properly wire the unit and put in the correct breaker. This took almost another week. FINALLY Donald and Louis showed up and quickly and expertly completed the job that should have been done in the beginning. For THEM we give 5 stars.

Our AC unit failed yesterday. Of course, it has been over 100 degrees the last few days, so we were concerned. Called AC Plus this morning and they had it up and running again by 11:00am today! Jonathan was great and explained everything to me, answered all my questions. We will be calling them again if we ever have any problems. The woman that answered the phone there this morning was also very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Thank you AC Plus!
